The springs can be viewed by taking an easy 4 km round trip walk from the blowholes car-park. Water drains through the limestone and emerges as springs at the edge of the cliffs, resulting in fresh water pools. In the early days of settlement, a stone ramp was constructed so that when water was scarce, cattle could be driven or led down the cliff to the fresh water pools.
