Trewalla Springs Farm
Situated between the coastal City of Portland and beautiful Bridgewater Bay, 10kms from Portland along the Bridgewater Road. Access to sand dunes and coast through the property, connects to the Great South West Walk. Trewalla Spring Farm offer the opportunity to stay on a farm, in a setting where you can be on your own or easily have contact with the owners, living a comfortable distance away, in the original cottage (circa 1850).
Blacksmith shop and old farm equipment, working Clydesdale, enjoy the various animals, which include, wiltipol sheep, horses, cattle, emu, poultry, wild kangaroo, koala and bird life. Watch your children play on the play equipment and in the sandpit, bring your own horse and discover the area on horseback. Safe parking for boats and vehicles. Relax by the natural spring and undercover BBQ area or bring your bikes to enjoy the scenic roads in the area.
School Cottage previously the Gorae West School, uniquely re-sited and renovated. Fully self contained with kitchen, large open plan area, consisting of lounge and dining, TV/DVD, fan, wood heater. Bedroom 1 queen bed, bedroom 2 has 2 bunks, 2 single beds with electric blankets plus cot. Bathroom facilities & auto washing machine. Linen, Doonas & towels supplied. There are some toys, books, games & a blackboard.
Saddler’s Cottage originally a Saddler’s Shop in Heywood, now it becomes a couples retreat. Fully self contained, well appointed kitchen/dining area, lounge with cozy wood heater, TV/DVD, fan, Main bedroom 1 queen bed with electric blanket, bathroom & auto washing machine. Linen, Doonas & towels supplied.
