Seals by Sea Tours
Seals by Sea Tours is located at Cape Bridgewater along some of Victoria’s most breathtaking coastline.
For over 18 years we’ve offered a unique tourism experience in seal sightseeing and swimming adventures and are now the only mainland breeding colony in Australia.
Our Seals Adventure Cruise sees the pristine waters come alive with hundreds of delightfully playful seals. You’ll be up-close to Australia’s only mainland breeding colony of over 2,000 Australian and Long Nosed Fur Seals. in seal sightseeing and swimming adventures and are now the only mainland breeding colony in Australia.
A three minute boat ride from our jetty will take you alongside the rock platform and into the Watery Cave where you will experience a unique interaction within the seals' natural habitat. During the 45 minute cruise you will watch the seals play all around you, showing off to the sound of clicking cameras and getting up to antics that will delight both the young and young at heart.
When the conditions are right many other forms of wildlife may be seen on our tour including dolphins, killer whales, blue whales, humpback whales, sea lions, and many types of birds.
Throughout the tour the experienced tour guides will educate all guests of the historic and magnific coastline, as well as show off the must see horizontal waterfall towards the back of the cape.
Cage Snorkelling with the Seals
Our Swim with Seals Cruise offers an unforgettable wildlife experience and underwater adventure, where guests can enjoy snorkelling with the seals from the safety of a large cage and pontoon.
Seals by Sea Tours ‘swim with the seals’ experience is the only place in the world you will get to cage dive with seals. This new attraction now takes off from Cape Bridgewater beach, through the surf and out to a floating viewing platform.
All snorkels and wetsuits are provided.

Seal Caves Scenic Walks
Those keen for a walk will embrace an energetic two hour return walk to the seal colony from either the beach kiosk or the car park on the hill. A less energetic three hour return walk can be taken from the blowholes car-park. Occasionally, whales can be seen from Lookout Point, where steps lead down to a viewing platform some 70 metres above the seals.
