Accessible via the Portland-Nelson Road, this park features a network of walking tracks, spring wild flowers and abundant wildlife. Mt Richmond is an extinct ancient volcano surrounded by low flat land. The volcano is covered with a layer of sand blown inland long ago from Discovery Bay and forms part of the Coast & Caves precinct of the Kanawinka Geopark. With spectacular spring wild flowers and abundant wildlife in unspoilt bushland, Mount Richmond is the perfect place to have a picnic, take a walk or simply drive to the summit and enjoy the magnificent views.
