The M2M is an initiative of the Narrawong District Association; it is an important part of the local and community structure and a great fund raiser for the local community with the local school and life guards among some receiving funds from our profits. Join in or support our walkers/runners at the Narrawong foreshore for a great day of fun including,
AUNTY ANNIE'S RUN: The 7km run along the beach to McCombe's and back. Though we imagine that Annie McCombe would never have run this we are sure she would be chuffed to know it has been named after her.
SURRY SCURRY: This new event is a 3km course around the Surry bend, over the walking bridge and up through the Narrawong township, a short section along the beach and back to the oval. Designed for those who don't feel up to 7km's and for those with children in pushers etc.
KIDS LAP: Another great new run of the oval to allow the kids to become involved. Open to all primary age children. This run kicks off about 12 noon and will involve a certificate for all children who participate and prizes for all who beat Ivan over the line.
COASTAL SEAFARMS BEACH CLASSIC: A 14km from Fitzroy River to Surry River.
Why would the most beautiful walks of all time be changed?
ALL registrations for walks to be done on the day of the event. All walkers will be issued with a wristband.
14km “Classic Beach Walk”.
“Auntie Annie’s Beach Walk” – 7km out-and-back beach walk from Narrawong beach.
