Head down to Portland’s town beach, north of the Lee Breakwater, and walk the wide sandy beach until you reach the cliff face.

On your return journey you will see steps leading to the Ploughed Field. While in this area,make sure you read the plaques on the Immigrant Wall. Many of Victoria’s first settlers entered through the Port of Portland.

A walking track takes you under the cliff until you reach Anderson’s Steps near the World War 11 Memorial Tower. once over the top wander back along the face of the cliff, to Portland Bay Lighthouse, behind the Caravan Park.
